About Us

Our Story

We are a group of dedicated students working to provide free dance and fitness classes for all undergraduate and graduate students at Michigan State University.

Our mission is to foster an accessible dance community that is open to dancers of all experience levels, with varying options for commitment levels. Whether students have been dancing for their entire life or have never set foot in a studio, the MSU Ballet Club is open to all.

Originally founded as RCAH Ballet in 2021, MSU Ballet Club has expanded into a university-wide student organization dedicated to making the art of dance inclusive, affordable, and welcoming. What started as a small initiative within the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities has grown into a vibrant community of dancers, movement enthusiasts, and supporters across campus.
