Earn points by attending classes and events and win FREE prizes!
Member Points System
To encourage consistent involvement and commitment to the club, MSU Ballet Club is introducing a new Member Points System in Fall 2025. Members can accumulate points throughout the semester by participating in various activities. At the end of each semester, the top point earners will receive exclusive prizes! Points will reset at the end of each semester.
Ways to Earn Points
Attend Any Class
1 Point Per Class
Every time you attend a general or company class, you will automatically earn one point. Points are only counted if you take attendance, so be sure to check in with the instructor!
Perform in Semester Performance
20 Points
All dancers who perform in our show at the end of each semester will earn 20 points.
Join Company
10 Points Per Semester
For each semester that you are a company member, you will earn 10 points.
Attend Fall or Spring Gala
5 Points
Attend our galas at the start of the Fall or end of the Spring Semesters and earn 5 points.
Attend a Social Event
1 Point Per Social
Join us at one of our social events and earn 1 point for each event you attend.
2 Points Per Event
Volunteer at any of our large-scale events. This can include helping us set up/clean up for the gala or assisting backstage/being an usher for our performances.
Bring a Friend to Class
2 Points
Bring a friend who hasn't taken a class with us before to a class and earn 2 points! Be sure to let your instructor know when you come to class.
Share Our Social Media Posts
0.5 Points
Repost or share one of our Instagram posts and tag us to earn 0.5 points. You can do this a maximum of once per week!
Please Note: It is the member's responsibility to ensure points are recorded by the instructor, such as making sure their attendance is recorded. E-Board and Instructors can participate; however, they can only earn points by attending classes that they are not teaching.​
